ANOINTING OF SICK AND HEALING SERVICE

Weekend of Feb 1st and 2nd in all three parishes at all Masses.  It is also family Mass weekend.

Blessing of Throats in honour of St Blaise at the end of Mass.

 

The dates for first Reconciliation in our three parishes are as follows:

Thur. 13th Feb. 7pm Redwood,   Thur. 27th Feb.7pm Terryglass

 Fri. 28th Feb. 7pm Borrisokane.

 

HISTORICAL TALK ON BORRISOKANE   “A sit down walk about Borrisokane, up and down the street from early 19th Century”

A Talk by local historian Eamon Slevin on Friday 31st Jan.@8pm in Borrisokane Community Centre on the Birr Road, next to Clarke Hall.

Our second talk will be by Lisa McGeeney on “Women in19th Centuary in Borrisokane Workhouse” on Friday 28th Feb 8pm.

 

LAKESHORE LADIES GROUP TERRYGLASS will host a Crime Prevention Advice talk given by Community Gardai Maureen Finnerty and Alison O’Connell on Thurs 13 Feb at 3pm at Terryglass Community Hall. All are welcome, €5 fee for non-members. Refreshments will be served.

RATHCABBIN PLAYERS will celebrate their 40th anniversary this year with a production of Drinking Habits, written by Tom Smith, directed by Paul Spencer.
