VOCATIONS Today Killaloe Diocese Launches a year – long Vocations Initiative. The ‘Year for Vocations to the Diocesan Priesthood’,runs until Good Shepherd Sunday in April 2024. The Vocations Director Fr. Iggy McCormack says there is hope the three vocations recorded in the Diocese of Killaloe during the past 12 months can be built on during the ‘Year for Vocations to the Diocesan Priesthood’. Fr. McCormack will be visiting parishes throughout the Diocese to promote this initiative.
SEASON OF CREATION continues to October 4th.
Pope Francis in his Season of Creation Message urges us to enter the flow of justice for the earth by changing our lifestyles and advocating for the public policies that care for our Common Home. May we, in trusting in the rhythm of life of Jesus, be renewed in our caring for our Common Home.
TERRYGLASS CEMETERY COMMITTEE is having a further work evening at the cemetery on Mon 2nd Oct from 6.30pm followed by a meeting to take place at 8pm in Terryglass Hall to discuss essential maintenance going forward. All are welcome to attend.
KILBARRON TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY – AGM will take place in the Small Hall, Kilbarron on next Friday 6th October at 8pm.
